The Imagery Group goes to the 2011 PPAMS Show!

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

Yesterday and today several of our Imagery Group office folks attended the PPAMS (Promotional Products Association of the Mid-South) trade show in Murfreesboro, TN. It’s a fun regional trade show that is the perfect chance for some of our sales reps to explore the show floor and meet other folks in the industry. I was able to attend a couple of seminars on Monday and the keynote presentation this morning by Scott “The Name Tag Guy” Ginsberg.

Imagery Group Bowlers

Every year we get excited when it comes time to form up teams for the bowl-a-thon for Junior Achievement. Not only do we get a chance to raise money for an excellent cause but we get to bowl and laugh with each other while enjoying each year’s theme. The theme of 2011 is the “Rock n Bowl” with prizes for best rock n roll costume, best team name, best air guitaring and so on.

Using Dash Plaques in different ways – Nashville Art Crawl

Friday, February 4th, 2011

It’s the start of a new month here in Nashville and that means it’s time for a free monthly event that I often look forward to:

Art Crawl!

In Nashville, many downtown art galleries participate in a free art crawl on the first Saturday of every month. Attendees are able to walk from gallery to gallery and enjoy free entry and wine at each of the galleries. It’s a wonderful time (even when making the walk between galleries in the cold winter weather) and a great way to discover new artists and art styles. Approximately 20 galleries participate in the art crawl and they change the exhibits out on a monthly basis so you expect to see new pieces often! It’s a nice way to spend about 3 hours on a Saturday evening and still have time left to enjoy the rest of the night.

It’s been around for quite a few years, though it was only in 1971 that the station received its FCC approval to broadcast on the FM band as a non-profit and educational station.
